Kaesyn was hospitalized after seeing the pulmonologist tuesday. so we are in KC MO at childrens mercy. They did a CT scan on his lungs yesterday and didnt find anything to do with his wheezing. it showed that he does infact have asthma, however it is very rare that he is not responding to the steroids or anything else usually used to treat asthma. This morning, as we speak, they are doing a bronchoscopy. they may know something i dont at this point, but they were sure it was floppy airway or malasia. he is growing good, he is happy, and he is well developed for a 14 month old. so they dont think it is anything serious, but like i said at this point tha t may have changed. they thought at first it was a vascular ring where the vascular arteries would be wrapped around his lungs. That would have been scary, but thank God thats not the case. Being here at the childrens hospital makes me feel so much better, seeing these sick children, crying parents makes me appreciate my children. Next time I have a chance I will update you, I just decided to do this on my laptop to kind of take my mind of the million what ifs that were running through my head..... they said itd be 30 minutes and its about about 45....so im getting anxious now.
